The 2024 Dash 4 Dignity is a hybrid 5K and Pathway to Freedom Awareness Expo.

                The following instructions are for the In-Person 5K and Pathway to Freedom

Thank you for joining us for this year’s Dash4Dignity to raise awareness of human trafficking and resources to support the City of Refuge Baltimore.

As we come into the home stretch of our preparations to return to In-Person, here are things to know.

Pre-DASH 2024 In-Person Packet Pickup

PARKING

Parking for the 5K Dash Walk participants is in the south parking lot.  Refer to map.  Enter on the south side driveway. Parking is FREE and there will be signs on Quarterfield Road directing you to this area.

Once you park, walk along the sidewalk by our start and finish line to get to the Ministry Center for packets and pre-Dash beverages.

ON-SITE
REGISTRATION

Packet pickup on Dash Day is in the Gathering Place in the Ministry Center.  If you need to pick up your packet on Dash Day, please arrive NO LATER THAN 6:50 am.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Heritage Community Church has implemented rigorous procedures throughout the week to sanitize the air inside the facility.

Masks for this year's Dash are optional.

The Dash is a stroller and pet friendly event. Those "dashing" with strollers or pets are asked to move towards the back of the starting line up. Only service or emotional support animals are permitted in the Heritage Ministry Center.

Flagger Force is providing the 5K course safety. Please stay on the
5K route and follow the directional arrows.

AWARDS

  • ALL 5K participants receive a finishers medal.  
  • Top 3 male and female 5K In-person Dash finishers receive place trophies.
  • Youth 16 and under received special recognition.

ACTIVITIES

Post-Dash ceremony and awareness expo are located in the Gathering Place.  Enjoy refreshments, check out the information and talk with representatives from organizations serving our community and human trafficking survivors.  

Learn more about modern-day slavery –

  • What are the signs;
  • How can we protect our citizens, especially our children;
  • Who can you contact if you see signs of human trafficking; and
  • How can you get involved. 

We also have great Dash Day In-Person door prizes to give away this year.
